BOSTON – Feb. 27, 2020 Lola.com, the Agile Travel Management™ company that provides a super simple way to book, manage, report, and save on business travel, has won a 2020 Finny in the Killer Content Awards presented by Demand Gen Report. Three of the company’s podcasts, Agile Operations Podcast, Table Fries, and Road Warrior Radio, were recognized for outstanding and creative content in the ninth annual awards. All launched last year to educate and connect with listeners on a variety of topics, the podcasts are produced in conjunction with Funnel Radio, the streaming digital internet radio channel that publishes live radio programs and follow-on podcasts for at-work listeners.

“We are so happy to work with the Lola.com team with their deep knowledge of podcasting and history of working with Funnel Radio since it began in 2014,” said Susan Finch, Vice President Operations, Funnel Media Group, LLC. “The content has been a pleasure to edit with wonderful guests, both internally and externally. Lola.com podcasts are such an asset to our lineup on Funnel Radio. This award is well-deserved.”

The Killer Content Awards spotlight companies and teams that are embracing new rules of engagement and transforming them into cutting-edge campaigns that utilize new storytelling methods and new amplification channels. Winners are putting hours into understanding their audiences on a deeper level, challenging themselves to tell stories in new ways, and amplifying these stories across the channels and networks to which their buyers gravitate.

“In recent years, there has been a surge in brands submitting their podcast series for the awards, so the audio content category was specifically created this year,” said Alicia Esposito, Senior Content Strategist at Demand Gen Report. “There were companies that stood out from the pack, but Lola.com was ultimately awarded the Finny for its exceptionally relevant, compelling, and creative content. Congratulations to the entire Lola.com team for its winning podcast series.”
