WHAT: WEBINAR: “Building a Culture of Metrics with Mike Volpe, from HubSpot to Cybereason to Lola.com,” with Host, Lauren Kelley, CEO of OPEXEngine
Fast growth SaaS companies have to build a culture of metrics and financial competency throughout the organization to effectively fire on all cylinders. Everyone in the company, from Marketing to R&D and every part of the organization in between, needs to understand how their job contributes to the financial performance of the company, and what the company’s KPIs really mean to their job. Mike shares his experience as the CMO of fast growth SaaS leaders, HubSpot and Cybereason, and now as CEO of Lola.com.
Mike Volpe has been asked to speak at numerous conferences on sales, marketing and growth, as well as people operations, leadership, hiring and culture and is a strong advocate for building great teams with a wide range of talent. Prior to Lola, Mike was CMO at Cybereason where he helped the company increase its sales pipeline by 650% in a single year and grow revenue by five times during his tenure. He was part of the founding team at HubSpot, where he spent eight years growing the company from five people to over 1,000 employees, $175m in revenue, and a successful IPO.
Mike is well-known and active in the Boston SaaS and startup communities as a member of the board of directors of Validity and Privy, and as an angel investor in more than 30 startups.
After 25 years in fast growth high tech companies, Lauren Kelley founded OPEXEngine to solve the problem that high tech companies lack good quality benchmarks from a neutral provider – especially operational benchmarks – to reduce risk and improve efficiency and growth.
