Lola.com hosts panel to discuss real-life challenges as well as LinkedIn recommendation workshop to collectively boost women’s profiles

On Wednesday, March 4, 2020, women from various departments at Lola.com are taking questions and discussing real-life experiences in the workplace and beyond to help move gender equity forward. International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, and is observed annually on March 8.

Panelists include Susan Jacobs, Senior Engineering Manager; Julie King, Corporate Travel Executive; Beth Cohen, Corporate Counsel; Eliana Berger, Product Manager; Eliza Bladon, Executive Assistant; Winnie Gong, Product Designer; and Jenna McCarthy, Travel Consultant.
The panelists are discussing what it means to be an ally to women in the workplace, what some of the biggest challenges faced being a women in tech and in the workforce in general, the biggest biases encountered, and how to ultimately overcome various challenges, among other topics.

On Friday, March 6, Emma is conducting a LinkedIn recommendation workshop, challenging attendees to write five LinkedIn recommendations for amazing women in their networks to collectively boost their profiles.
Food for both events is being provided by women-owned catering businesses. Winnie Gong also designed several custom Lola.com International Women’s Day 2020 laptop stickers for employees.
