In fact, Lola.com recently learned just how bad the corporate travel situation is when we conducted an extensive survey of more than 1,300 frequent business travelers and travel arrangers. Unsurprisingly, frequent business travelers want software that makes it easier and faster for them to book & expense flights and hotels. They also want easy access to 24/7 travel support while they’re on the road and clearer (and automated) booking guidelines so they can more easily stay in policy.

In our survey, we asked about their corporate travel management solution wishlist from three angles:

  2. Time & money savings
  3. Job satisfaction

When we asked frequent travelers what features a travel management solution would have to help make business travel more painless, they had a lot to say.

But frequent business travelers are only half of the equation. We also asked more than 600 travel arrangers what they’d want to see in an ideal corporate travel management tool.

What do traveler arrangers want from corporate travel software?

When we asked travel arrangers the same question, we got slightly different — but thematically similar — responses. For them, the ability to use saved traveler profiles and preferences, automated expense reporting, and access to 24/7 human support topped the list.

Again, we broke the data into the three same groups — efficiency, cost savings and job satisfaction — to identify the perfect corporate travel management solution according to travel arrangers.
